Lora has currently working towards her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health with an emphasis in trauma, she has earned her Bachelors of Science in Human Services and Criminal Justice. Lora joined the New Choices Clinical Team in January of 2020 as has been committed to the organization and clients. She has extreme compassion for assisting others in overcoming addiction and helping people learn how to live as productive members of society. Lora, herself, has achieved a fulfilled life of long-term recovery and can identify on a very personal level with the clients she serves. Her enthusiasm for sobriety and passion for life has resulted in her being a true example that long-term sobriety is an achievable and sustainable goal. For her excellence in counseling, Lora has received the distinguished Spirit of Excellence Award and consistently achieves Employee of The Month/Year Awards. She has years of experience with several modalities and disciplines for treatment and a desire for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is regularly reminded that she is a great listener and counselor, proven and backed by her client fan mail. If Lora is not problem-solving or assisting others to succeed, Lora enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
