Our team is structured to respond to each client’s unique needs, creating a supportive community environment where recovery is personal, purposeful, and grounded in evidence-based practice.
Built for Adults 18+
Our programs are designed specifically for adults navigating substance use disorder, with an inclusive environment for men and women and a welcoming, LGBTQIA+-friendly culture. Treatment is focused on primary substance use disorders while integrating support for co-occurring mental health conditions.
A Supportive Community Environment
With clinical and residential services located on one campus, clients experience consistent structure, peer support, and direct access to licensed clinicians and an on-site psychiatrist. Our team fosters accountability, connection, and daily routines that reinforce well-being and sustainable change.
Personalized, Evidence-Based Care
Every client receives a customized treatment plan that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), medication-assisted treatment (MAT), trauma-focused therapies, SMART Recovery, and psychoeducational groups. Care is tailored to individual strengths, challenges, and recovery goals to promote long-term stability.
Integrated Mental Health & Substance Use Treatment
Because substance use and mental health are often interconnected, we provide coordinated support for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and trauma-related concerns. This integrated approach strengthens emotional regulation, improves coping skills, and supports lasting recovery.
Highlights of Our
Addiction Treatment Programs
We provide a full range of comprehensive treatment programs, including detox, residential care, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services. Each plan is crafted to meet the unique needs of every individual on their journey to sobriety.
Evidence-Based and Holistic Therapies
We use evidence-based and experiential therapies to help heal the mind and body. Our treatment center offers CBT, DBT, EMDR, as well as art, music, drama, and outdoor adventure therapy, taking a two-pronged yet symbiotic approach to recovery.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment
Our team addresses the root causes of addiction by treating both substance use disorder and underlying mental health conditions. An integrated approach to co-occurring disorder treatment ensures no stone goes untouched and clients can find lasting healing.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
When appropriate, our medical staff incorporates medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and medication management. Medication can significantly help a person manage cravings, such as buprenorphine for opioid addiction. Clients struggling with specific mental health symptoms may also have medication management as part of their treatment plan.
Alumni and Ongoing Support
We’re here for you, even at discharge. Our Active in Recovery (AIR) Program and supportive alumni network offer lifelong connections and guidance.
What to Expect During
Addiction Treatment in San Antonio
or a loved one needs for lasting recovery.
Structured and Supportive Daily Routine
Your daily routine typically starts between 7:00 and 7:30 AM. Clinical therapy, process groups, and holistic wellness activities all start at 9:00 AM. You’ll join others in a mix of these therapies, and have dedicated time for physical exercise and wellness.
Evenings include off-site 12-Step meetings before lights out at 10:00 PM. We also host Alumni Fridays, where 40 to 60 individuals gather to discuss their goals and personal experiences with recovery. It’s an excellent time to build a network of supportive peers who understand what short and long-term addiction recovery looks like.
Addiction Treatment Services
and Levels of Care
Substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions need more than just simple drug rehab – they need a plan of action, a deep understanding of behavioral health, and plenty of compassion for a person’s healing journey.
Residential Treatment Programs
Immersive inpatient care can be your personal path toward long-term recovery. Our residential substance abuse treatment programs are highly structured environments where you can focus entirely on healing for 30, 60, or 90 days, depending on your clinical needs.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) involves day programming for an additional 30 days as a transition or step-down level of care. The program meets 5 days a week while you live in the dedicated PHP house.
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides structured clinical support through 24 sessions over roughly 8 weeks. These customized outpatient programs are designed to help you transition back into daily life and give you a foundation for better emotional and mental health.
Detox and Withdrawal Support
Our medically supervised detox program typically lasts 5 to 7 days. We provide round-the-clock care during this time to ensure you safely and comfortably manage withdrawal symptoms with the help of healthcare professionals.
Outpatient Treatment and Aftercare
Routine outpatient treatment services meet once a week and focus on long-term recovery. You can use these sessions to help prevent relapse and hold yourself accountable, ensuring you continue to use and develop new tools for continued success.
When to Seek Help for
Substance Abuse or Addiction
Recognizing you need help is not only an act of courage, but it’s also the first step in the recovery process. It’s normal, even expected, to feel overwhelmed, but you don’t have to face drug or alcohol addiction alone. You may want to reach out to a treatment center if you experience an inability to control or stop using substances, regardless of the physical or emotional cost, as well as physical or psychological withdrawal symptoms if you try to cut back or quit. If you have a decline in performance at work or school, or strained relationships with loved ones or colleagues due to substance use, it may be time to seek help.
